Crafting with the boys

“Our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred, and we are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmas-time.”

Me and the boys did some crafting this week.  I made some new ornaments out of mason jar lids and material...actually some old shirts.
While the boys played floor hockey with some of the lids.....
 We painted a tree....
William said he put lights on it and began singing happy Birthday Christmas.

Then we made some snow globes. I've been wanting to make them for about 2 years now.  I just never found the time.  So I've been collecting little things here and there to go in the globes and this year it felt right to do them.....
We made them waterless this year and put some Gain detergent in them for snow.
William loved this we had so much fun!
I let him pick out the little things to go in the globes, his favorite was birdies....

I hope this season brings you lots of childhood joy....I'm cherishing it!!

I adore this post! Such sweet time creating with your little ones. You are being a great blessing to your sons by creating these memories with you. (I love the mason lid ornaments!)
