I've mentioned before that being on a budget allows me to be very creative. I always think how can I do this without going to the store and therefore spend money. Living in Iowa now with my mom literally 2 streets down and my sister 2 streets up and my brother a neighborhood away I have sooo many resources. So for my boys coat rack I didn't have to go far. I found a 2X4 and ordered some hooks and it was done!

I love this northwood 2X4, the word north is so fitting to hang winter coats! I love how it's so basic and rustic like boys are!The hardest part was lining up the hooks....it took a small amount of math. I got the hooks at overstock.com for $2 a piece.
Over all I'm very please with my simple rustic coat rack! And it takes seconds to use!
