Katie Girl Painting or Drawing To do....

The way I get things done is write it down, after that it's gospel and it must get done or else it will haunt me for the rest of my life!  Well I've been wanting to make a painting or drawing of Katie Girl for quite some time.  I once heard that the word try is compared to a cuss word and I'm not going to try, I'm really going to do this and it will be on my wall!! So I've took a few steps toward this little project!

 I got my camera out and snapped a few pictures of my girl.....with some smoked turkey in my hand of course.....otherwise her ears wouldn't perk up, because just like this picture explains that's way to much work for her!

 I like this one cuz she looks short stout just like she is.....

 My favorite....cuz it's just Katie....all of her life she likes to relax and every once in a while get up and raise some hell with the mailman or neighbor....this is her! Now to decide on what style to paint/draw her....????? Here's a few I found that I like...

This one looks kinda like Katie's photo.....love the realistic detail but all the same it looks like a painting.

This is just fun...love the bright colors that are added!

This is simple but detailed, love the little hair detail....these ears look like Katie's perked ears.  So this will eventually get done...can't wait to start it, buying a canvas and paint next!...now back to painting kitchen cabinets!!
